Meet a symbol for this season.

A short guided visualization + gentle journal prompts to begin your inner conversation.

Suggested time: 10–20 minutes.

Begin with the Guided Visualization

Optional: before you press play, hold one gentle question in mind — a small worry or a quiet longing. Or arrive empty-handed and open, and see what the symbol points you toward. Both are welcome.

Step 1 — Listen & Journal

Listen — Find a quiet moment, press play, and follow the invitation.
Journal — After the visualization, spend 5–10 minutes with the “First Encounter” prompts below.

First Encounter (5–10 min)

  1. Title this entry: Symbol: [name] — [date]

  2. Describe what appeared: shape, color, texture, size, where it sits.

  3. Note bodily impressions: where do you feel it? What emotions did you feel?

  4. Free write for 5 minutes on anything that comes up in relation to the experience and the symbol itself.

  5. Finish: “If this symbol has a message for me right now, it would say…”

Amplify (optional) Now that you’ve explored your own felt sense, you might briefly look up the collective meanings of your symbol. This can shed new light on the message it holds for you — but always let your felt sense be primary. A symbol can hold many meanings; trust the ones that feel right. If you like, note one or two things you learned and how this amplification process has contributed to your insight.

There’s no right way to do this — whatever appears is enough. Tend to it with kindness.

Step 2 — Return & Dialogue (Optional)

To gain a deeper perspective you can revisit and dialogue with your symbol later the same day or weeks from now — follow your timing.

Return & Dialogue (10–20 min)

  1. Close your eyes briefly and call the symbol back into presence.

  2. Imagine you are speaking with the symbol. Ask:

    • What do you want me to know?

    • What do you need from me now?

    • What small next step would honor you?

  3. Let the symbol answer in first person—don’t censor.

  4. Spend some time writing down what transpired

  5. Close with: “One small thing I can do this week to honor this message is…”

Keep this symbol near you this week — let it be a small lamp illuminating what’s asking to be seen.
